If someone asks you to describe yourself, you’d probably reply by stating your profession. Certainly, what you do to earn a living is a part of who you are. But more often than not, people need to stop and think for a bit before coming up with a list of the qualities – the talents, skills, interests and competencies – that make them unique. RVB Associates takes a collaborative coaching approach to individual development, with the coach acting as a catalyst for lasting change. The process starts with a multi-rater assessment and analysis, and proceeds through implementing an action plan. Each coaching engagement is custom designed, and can run anywhere from one to six months. In designing a process, we follow a simple model:
- Determine the current state, based on relevant data
- Identify the desired future state, working with client and sponsor to ensure agreement on goals and objectives
- Design a development plan and help to put it in action
